Mind Country
Lately, I’ve been getting to know the landscape of many different parts of myself. The body is a magnificent, mysterious and magical thing. The mind is powerful and thoughts are a vessel, transporting us to everywhere other than here. Getting to know the vessel is the fastest way to get to where we want to be.
Welcome to the place I don’t call home but visit often as in everyday call it work if you may here is where decisions are made I’d like it to resemble that of country side perhaps rolling green hills rivers full of life that I instead associate with my heart my mind resembles more of a maze a place with cobbled narrow streets where you may disappear as you please and as a visitor you’ll find excitement, adventure feelings of ease it’s dark which will give you respite from the sun you’re welcome to pick your own fun but tread with caution you’ll never know what’s around the next bend stray dogs will beg at your feet not for their mouths to feed bellies exposed yearning for affection like that of a motherless child a garden or few you’re likely to see many un-manicured, un-finished bursting with potential meeting someone to discuss what could be done to make things better is not uncommon if you’re invited in to the bookshop find a chesterfield couch light a cigar under the warm Amber light order a whiskey and indulge in the ember show pick a book from the shelf dust off the cover dive into the story sip on inspiration stir the creativity
